For the first time in its existence, the Carcassonne Festival will have the honor of welcoming on its legendary stage of the Jean-Deschamps Theater, one of the most influential artists on the world rock scene: Alanis Morissette. Dizzying figures reflecting his career and his talent: more than 75 million albums sold around the world, 7 Grammy Awards, 14 Canadian Juno Awards, 2 Golden Globe nominations, 1 Brit Award, 10 albums all critically acclaimed! In 2025, her 3rd album “Jagged Little Pill” (ranked among the 50 greatest albums of all time, according to Rolling Stone magazine, Women who rock category) and her essential singles “Ironic”, “You Oughta Know”, “ Head Over Feet”, “Hand In My Pocket”… will celebrate their 30th anniversary!
