Description

Geoffroy Oulès, a chestnut grower and beekeeper by trade, is renovating old chestnut groves between Roquefère and Castans. Every year, several old chestnut varieties are planted for conservation purposes: Marrons d’Olargues, Dauphines, Verdales, Bouches Rouges, Patouillettes and many others…

On-site production and processing: chestnut purée, chestnut syrup, natural chestnuts, risotto and old-fashioned chestnut flour, chestnut purée with whisky (2% alcohol), rich and varied quality honeys, chestnut honey, mountain honey, hazelnut or almond preserves with honey and Palymel.

As part of his ongoing agro-ecological project, Geoffroy is installing nesting boxes for bats and birds. Protection and reproduction of bees.
